Portland, Maine (June 15, 2010) — Woodard & Curran is pleased to announce that the following individuals have been named associates of the firm:
Robert Amaral is a Senior Project Technical Specialist in Woodard & Curran Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Systems service line. He has over 16 years of experience in systems engineering, including control system design, development of electrical drawings, development of process and instrumentation diagrams, PLC programming, operator interface programming, and automated reporting development. He works with clients on complex instrumentation and controls projects at water and wastewater treatment, chemical process, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, power generation, liquefied natural gas generation and distribution, and packaging facilities.
Jennifer Andrews is Manager of the firm’s 12-member Marketing team. She is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the firm’s market-focused initiatives, including proposals, qualifications packages, marketing literature, advertising, market research, conference participation, and award submittals. Andrews is the President-Elect of the Maine Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and a Certified Professional Services Marketer.
Rodger Carr is Woodard & Curran’s Plant Manager at a confidential industrial client’s groundwater treatment site in Connecticut. He has over 31 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater and hazardous waste treatment facilities, with particular expertise in the operation and maintenance of Ultraviolet/Oxidation treatment facilities. Carr manages all aspects of the remediation process at the site, including treatment systems operation, subcontractor and consultant oversight, and client communication.
Jim Finegan, PE has over 30 years of experience, primarily in municipal water treatment. He served for years as a project manager for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, is active with the New England and Massachusetts Water Works Associations, and was a member of the MA DEP’s working group for Chemical Control Strategy, whose work was directed at preventing chemical overdosing at treatment facilities. He works with clients on water system improvements, facility design and construction, and master planning.
Erika Lloyd is a Project Manager and Geologist with over 10 years of experience in environmental data management and geographic information systems. She works on a broad range of projects including hazardous waste investigations, environmental risk assessments, and complex multi-party litigation. Her understanding of mapping and database design is a valuable asset in the development and implementation of comprehensive information management systems, which help her clients address diverse environmental challenges.
Brian McGrath is a regulatory specialist and environmental scientist with 10 years of experience in the fields of environmental compliance and occupational health and safety. He provides compliance assistance to academic, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and utilities clients. With a background in analytical chemistry, environmental management, and policy development, his expertise includes hazardous waste management, environmental management systems, occupational health and safety auditing, multi-media environmental compliance auditing, facility permitting and planning, hazard assessments, and training for a variety of environmental and safety programs.
Lauren Pasquali is Woodard & Curran’s Accounting Manager, responsible for day-to-day operations of payroll, accounting, billing, purchasing, and accounts payable functions. She has played a significant role in many firm initiatives, including formalizing the corporate travel program, streamlining vendor payment systems, reducing the firm’s environmental impacts through vendor partnerships, and supports employees across the company on matters relating to accounting software and procedures.
