The Village of Larchmont’s Flint Park was the recent recipient of a Westchester Municipal Planning Federation Planning Achievement Award, which recognizes the accomplishments of municipalities and residents who have made significant contributions to planning.

Michael van der Heijden, a Senior Vice President at Woodard & Curran, was named a trustee of the board for the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) Association in New Jersey. The association was created after the signing of the Site Remediation Reform Act was signed by Governor Corzine on May 7, 2009.
On Thursday May 7 New Jersey Governor Corzine signed into law the Site Remediation Reform Act to expedite the cleanup of hazardous waste sites across New Jersey. With this signing, NJ is creating the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program, which will change the way cleanup work is overseen and the timelines for compliance with environmental requirements.
