EWRI World Environmental & Water Resources Congress

Created in 1999, the Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI) is the recognized leader within ASCE for the integration of technical expertise and public policy in the planning, design, construction, and operation of environmentally sound and sustainable infrastructure impacting air, land, and water resources. The EWRI's World Environmental & Water Resources Congress will bring together leading environmental and water resource professionals to discuss “Creative Solutions for a Changing Environment.”

Leslie Dumas will be giving a presentation titled, "Implementing SGMA – An Update on California’s Foray into Groundwater Regulation" at 8:30 AM followed by Rachel Gross' presentation titled, "Using a Systems Model to Analyze Climate Change Impacts on Water Supply and Demand."

Wednesday, May 24

At 10:30 AM, Brian Van Lienden will be presenting, "Sacramento and San Joaquin Basins Study: Assessing Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Strategies in California’s Central Valley Water System" alongside representatives from CH2M and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
