The ACEC Research Institute welcomed Woodard & Curran CEO Alyson Watson, PE. as a board member at their meeting on March 29, 2022. The Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering knowledge and business strategies that guide and elevate the engineering industry. As Woodard & Curran’s CEO, Alyson is responsible for overall firm performance and strategic direction. She has more than 20 years of experience as an executive leader, environmental consultant, and project manager focused on water resources planning and water quality analysis.
Like so many areas of our lives, the engineering industry is going through transformational change. Emerging technology, societal shifts, and major investments at the federal level are powerful forces driving how we work and what our clients and communities are focused on. Woodard & Curran sits at the intersection of all these forces, and I am excited to collaborate with my colleagues as we grapple with these big, important questions. The Institute has an amazing opportunity to help understand the changes we face and guide the industry through this moment.
