Giving Back to Our Communities

The communities where we live and work are central to our success. We do the kinds of work we do because they change the world for the better. What we get from our communities is vast: the trust they put in us to build the infrastructure they rely on, to clean up the environment that surrounds them, and to create the spaces where they live, work, and play. Our company and our people cannot be separated from their communities. And so we give back.

Supporting our employees' causes

Our corporate giving program is designed to help our people make an impact with organizations they care about. Guided by their involvement, we dedicate money every year to contributions in support of our employees’ commitment to causes. And our people’s generosity goes well beyond the financial, with regular events to support both local and national organizations. Whether it’s a blood drive in the office, holiday giving through local charities, or volunteering at a local soup kitchen, our people are out in their communities trying to make a difference.

Taking Corporate Citizenship Further

Woodard & Curran is a mission-driven organization filled with people motivated by a sense of purpose and a desire to make the world a better place. The Woodard & Curran Foundation was established to take our vision of exemplary corporate citizenship further by building resources to make substantial contributions to causes that match our values. Thanks to the generous donations of time and resources from our employees, the firm, and other like-minded individuals and organizations, the Woodard & Curran Foundation has been able to fund important causes with grants supporting meaningful projects that directly improve local communities and the environment.

Established in 2010, the Woodard & Curran Foundation is a 510(c)3 not-for-profit organization that makes grants to nonprofits that focus on environmental quality, stewardship, and preservation, particularly for projects that directly improve public health and/or educate the public regarding the sustainability of environmental resources.
