Woodard & Curran is launching Pani, a cloud-based machine learning software platform, at three of our operations contracts in New Jersey. The Canadian-based software-as-a-service company provides digital operational twin technology to the water processing sector. Through our partnership with Pani, we will implement the software at a drinking water treatment facility, wastewater treatment facility, and industrial groundwater remediation facility.
This cutting-edge digital technology will help our operations staff holistically address the key issues of risk mitigation, compliance, and sustainable operations, while remaining focused on our clients’ specific priorities. During the year-long pilot period, Pani’s award-winning technology will aggregate and ingest data from each plant, analyze and visualize the data, and provide operators instructions on how to best optimize the treatment process performance, which in turn saves time, resources, and the environment.
“We firmly believe adopting digital technology will lead to increased uptime and optimized processes at these plants,” Pani CEO Devesh Bharadwaj said in a statement. “Treatment facilities have been underserved with digital technologies for just too long. At Pani we think this needs to change, and this is exactly the type of forward thinking needed to really make an impact to establish better business practices and a more sustainable, resilient local water supply.”
“We are excited to leverage Pani’s digital platform and this is an ideal opportunity to improve operational efficiencies,” said Operations & Management Business Development Leader Jay Sheehan. “Customer centricity and innovation have always been part of our focus and teaming up with Pani allows us to provide comprehensive, custom technology that is easy to implement, use, and scale in each processing segment. This will help our customers make the most of their data to execute better operational decisions in real time.”
