Announcing Our 2023 Slate of Senior Principals

Woodard & Curran is pleased to announce seven new Senior Principals elected at the annual stockholders meeting:

Sergio Bazarevitsch, National Practice Leader Design Build, has more than three decades of experience leading design-build (DB) and engineering-procurement-construction (EPC) projects in the municipal, federal, industrial, and commercial sectors. He has managed profit and loss centers while working across various business lines and with multiple stakeholders. At Woodard & Curran, Sergio is responsible for developing strategic direction, as well as establishing and executing business plans aligned with our strategic goals. He provides leadership, oversight and strategic vision for the safe delivery of all construction, project management, program management, and administration activities associated with our DB practice.

Mike Greenberg, Senior Client Manager, has more than 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry for municipal and industrial clients. He has successfully coordinated projects and served a wide array of clients to tailor unique solutions related to water and wastewater system issues. Mike has a wide focus, from operations and management to design-build-finance-operate projects. He is integral in helping our clients save money on projects, protect their environmental liability, and maintain and extend the life of their assets.

Lucas Hellerich, PhD, PE, LEP, Practice Leader for Remediation, offers more than 20 years of environmental remediation and engineering experience in contaminated site assessment, feasibility studies, remediation construction and implementation, peer review, liability valuation, professional engineering services, and regulatory support. He has responsibilities for staff development, marketplace visibility, client engagement, market growth strategy, business development, and project execution efforts across the United States.

Jon Himlan, PE, Senior Project Manager, has more than three decades of experience working on industrial and municipal treatment projects. He has managed the planning, design, and construction of collection systems, pump stations, and wastewater treatment facility upgrades. He focuses on client satisfaction, clear communications and effective project delivery, leading large and diverse teams on complex multi-discipline projects that often serve a variety of client and multiple stakeholder circumstances.

Xavier Irias, PE, Senior Technical Practice Leader Infrastructure and Design, brings more than 35 years of experience in the fields of water resources and engineering to his role at Woodard & Curran. His professional experience spans strategic planning, water and wastewater engineering, risk assessment, and financial management. As the former Director of Engineering for a major California water and wastewater utility, Xavier has extensive experience developing and implementing capital programs and delivering complex projects while working with a variety of stakeholders through planning, design, and construction.

Megan McDevitt, PE, Senior Project Manager, is a licensed professional engineer with more than 16 years of experience working with municipal and private clients. She has managed a range of projects, including site development, solid waste, wastewater, stormwater, resiliency, and asset management plans. She supports clients with initial planning and funding efforts as well as manages the design and construction for complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Greg Parks, National Innovation & Technical Support Manager, has more than 25 years of experience in municipal and industrial wastewater operations seeking to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technology and operations practices that maximize a facility’s potential and minimize the sludge, chemistry, energy, and human power expenses. He has worked on improving more than 100 municipal and industrial wastewater facilities in North and South America, Europe, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Australia. He is focused on upgrading and enhancing operations at our existing facilities and potential sites across the United States.
