Employee Resource Groups

Woodard & Curran’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) support our people through community, education, and advocacy. The ERGs are employee-led, and open to all. The ERGs our employees have established to date include:

  • Ascending Professionals
  • Disabilities
  • LGBTQIA+
  • Parents & Caregivers
  • Race, Ethnicity & Culture
  • Veterans
  • Women

Members of each ERG play an integral role in creating an inclusive community and climate where all employees can bring their whole selves and succeed. These voluntary groups cultivate connection between employees across the company and facilitate critical discussions regarding important topics that affect our employees.

Successes

Creating and maintaining a respectful and inclusive culture is a perpetual process.  While the work is never done, we are proud of our many accomplishments to date, including the review of hiring and recruiting practices, unconscious bias trainings, and reviews of our compensation practices. Here are some other steps we have taken to further our vision over the past few years:

  • Expanded recruitment targets to include additional colleges and universities
  • Expanded and modernized bias awareness as well as discrimination and harassment prevention training for new hires, employees, and managers
  • Supported the launch of seven employee-led ERGs
  • Added parental leave benefits and regularly review benefits for inclusivity
