Woodard & Curran was founded in 1979 by Frank Woodard, PhD, PE, and Al Curran, PE. As a team, they combined a passion for technical solutions and an intuitive sense of “the business of the business.” Looking to create a different kind of consulting firm, Frank and Al wrote the mission statement that still guides the firm today, beginning with a focus on fostering a sense of community and a rewarding work environment. As we have grown, the range of our expertise has expanded and our people have flourished, helping build Woodard & Curran into a national firm that seeks to leave the world a better place.
Woodard & Curran’s creation was inspired by challenges driven by Clean Water Act requirements. Over the years, we have made significant contributions to the restoration efforts spurred by hazardous waste regulations, environmental health and safety goals, and the protection of our water resources. Today, the growing focus on environmental, social, and governance issues informs our thinking.
We will always be a firm that looks ahead at emerging issues and seeks new approaches to address them. But we will never lose sight of the values instilled in us by our founders, the need to support our people, partner with our clients, and think creatively about our impact on our communities and planet.
All quality engineering firms can provide design services. Woodard & Curran has a business model based upon relationships which allows me as a client a single point of contact. The result an efficient and effective delivery of service that is unparalleled.
