Woodard & Curran Announces New External Board Directors

Woodard & Curran Board of Directors Chair Doug McKeown is pleased to announce the recent election of Patricia Taylor-Woodyard, Reyad Fezzani, and David Sweeney to the Board of Directors. These external members were voted on by the firm’s Senior Principals at the 2022 Annual Stockholders meeting. Each External Director will serve on the Board beginning in July.

After 34 years with CH2M Hill and another five as Chief Strategy & Development Officer for Weston Solutions, Patricia Taylor-Woodyard brings extensive leadership experience in operational profit and loss roles, sales growth roles, and program/technology leadership roles creating, building, and leading teams to achieve business objectives. Based in Illinois, she is recognized for spearheading commercial environmental business growth during her career. As a business-minded leader with ability to create vision, strategies, and aligned tactics, she understands the importance of our private ownership model, while also carrying expertise in performance-focused operation, private sector strategic client development, and our environmental consulting model.

Reyad Fezzani is the Chair and CEO of Regenerate Power, which owns and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects. Born in Libya and educated in the United Kingdom, he has more than 30 years of experience as a global business executive. Prior to co-founding Regenerate Power, Fezzani held various executive leadership roles at BP, including Chief Executive of BP Solar, overseeing the operations of global solar manufacturing plants, as well as the development, construction, and operation of solar and wind farms in the United States, Europe, India, and China. Based in California, Fezzani’s broad expertise will help our Board with leadership, governance, and strategic planning.

David Sweeney is the current CEO and President of RS&H, a national architecture, engineering, and consulting firm focused on aviation, aerospace, defense, financial, healthcare, science, and transportation sectors. Based in Florida, David’s experience with a similar employee-owned business model, board governance, and leadership, will serve us well in terms of strategic oversight, planning, and positioning Woodard & Curran for the future.

The Board of Directors at Woodard & Curran is composed of nine voting members, including the CEO, five Internal Directors, and three External Directors. The slate consists of 4 women and 5 men all of whom are voted on by our Senior Principals.
