Announcing Our 2021 Senior Principals

Woodard & Curran is pleased to announce 11 new Senior Principals elected at the annual stockholders meeting:

Dan Bryant, PG, Director of Practices for Woodard & Curran’s Environmental Remediation Services group, is an expert in in-situ remediation and he has focused his career on the development, application, and refinement of advanced, in-situ chemical and biological groundwater and soil remediation technologies, hydrology, and geochemistry. He leads the firm’s work to develop the strategic vision for our environmental remediation practices, and ensures Woodard & Curran remains at the cutting edge of technological innovation and market needs.

Denise Cameron, PE, is a Regional Manager with 20 years’ experience in civil engineering and construction management. She is responsible for quality assurance, coordination, communications, project management and execution. With a background in construction, she provides unique insights and pragmatic approaches to her projects. She specializes in the areas of civil/site development design, stormwater management design, land-use permitting, and construction administration services.

Maggie Connolly, PE, is a Regional Manager and licensed engineer with 17 years’ consulting experience in civil and environmental engineering and specializes in wastewater treatment and collection system design and construction. She is responsible for providing design, permitting, and construction administration services to both municipal and private clients on a variety of projects, including wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems and pump stations, site development, utility infrastructure, roadway construction, sewer evaluation studies, and stormwater management planning and permitting. She has extensive experience working with various funding agencies including Rural Development, the U.S. Economic Development Administration and the State Revolving Fund program.

Glenn Hermanson, PE, is a Senior Technical Leader with over 30 years of experience and is an expert in pipeline alignment studies, predesign, final design, and trenchless feasibility studies of pipeline projects involving water transmission, wastewater collection, and pump stations. He has performed studies, designs, and provided construction services for various municipalities, government agencies, as well as private sector clients.

Christine Kohne is Woodard & Curran’s Director of Finance for consulting operations and a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant with expertise in financial management in the AEC industry. She has a comprehensive background in public accounting, primarily auditing government entities, non-profit organizations, financial institutions, and manufacturing clients. She currently oversees the finance function and serves on the Consulting Leadership Team to implement financial objectives into Woodard & Curran’s overall strategic plan.

Jeanna Long, PhD, is a Senior Project Manager with more than 15 years of experience in applied physics and applied science engineering, programming, numerical analysis, and development of computer applications. Her experience includes web application design and skills in numerical methods, modeling, and programming. She has managed numerous projects and contracts for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the California Department of Water Resources, and other agencies.

Peter Martin, PE, is the leader of Woodard & Curran’s Technical Delivery Group, an internal technical services team providing specialty engineering discipline support to all of our Practices nationwide. He is responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the group in its mission to execute high-quality multidisciplinary design for our internal and external clients.

Rob Polys, PE, specializes in wastewater treatment process and collection system design for clients in the municipal and private sectors. His responsibilities have included evaluations, developing process designs, design basis calculations, cost estimating, wastewater treatment facility designs, collection system designs, pump station designs, utility bridge crossing design, hydraulic analysis, facility planning, preparation of final design/construction documents, construction administration, startup and construction inspection.

Rob Scott has over 30 years of operations, maintenance, and management experience, including 1,400 hours of trade-specific education and training, and holds various licenses in water and wastewater operations. He has been involved with the construction, start up, and commissioning of seven new wastewater treatment facilities, traveled extensively to provide on-site technical assistance to operations facilities, and was the Project Manager for the University of Connecticut’s Reclaimed Water Facility where he was responsible for administrative reports, contract compliance, health and safety, operations and maintenance activities, and the management of plant and technical support staff.

Andy Stanhope is Woodard & Curran’s Director of Finance – Corporate Controller, ensuring the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls are maintained by the organization and is accountable for the financial integrity and management of the financial assets of the company. He directs the Shared Accounting Services and Corporate Accounting teams and manages the Company’s external valuation relationship, working closely with the Corporate Secretary in administering the company’s annual stock transaction process.

Gillian Wood, PE, is Woodard & Curran’s Operations Manager for the Industrial Strategic Business Unit and a chemical engineer with experience in process design and project management for the food processing, manufacturing, pulp and paper, and power industries. She focuses on the design, oversight, and installation of process and utility systems. As a HACCP Certified Engineer, she also provides assistance with food safety programs.
