Woodard & Curran Welcomes New and Reelected Directors to Its Board

Woodard & Curran’s Senior Principals voted to confirm the selection of several members of its Board of Directors. Sue Guswa returns for another term as an internal Director, while both Jay Sheehan and Peter Martin join the Board as first-time internal Directors. Reyad Fezzani was selected to serve a second term as an external Director.

Guswa is Woodard & Curran’s Water Innovation Leader, working with the firm’s technical experts to develop innovative solutions to address clients’ challenging water issues. She leads the Board’s Compensation and Human Resources Committee. She has 27 years of experience in the water reclamation profession, is an active member of professional water quality organizations, including Water Environment Federation.

Sheehan is National Business Development Leader for Woodard & Curran’s Operations & Management business. In this role, he works with clients to create partnerships that deliver exceptional asset performance and protect the health of their residents and the environment. He has 30 years of utility management experience and water resource engineering working on all aspects of water resources including water, wastewater, stormwater and civil engineering and has been with the firm for 26 years.

Martin is the Group Leader for Woodard & Curran’s Technical Delivery Group, an internal technical services team providing specialty engineering discipline support to all the firm’s practices nationwide. Prior to this role, Peter was a process design engineer and project manager for over 15 years in the Industrial Waste Treatment Practice. His experience is in multidisciplinary design management with a focus leading alternative-delivery and design-build projects.

Fezzani is the Chairman and CEO of Regenerate Power, which owns and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects. Born in Libya and educated in the United Kingdom, he has more than 30 years of experience as a global business executive. Prior to co-founding Regenerate Power, Fezzani held various executive leadership roles at BP, including Chief Executive of BP Solar, overseeing the operations of global solar manufacturing plants, as well as the development, construction, and operation of solar and wind farms in the United States, Europe, India, and China.
