Lyndsey Bloxom Joins Woodard & Curran as Water Resources Practice Leader

Woodard & Curran has hired Lyndsey Bloxom to serve as Water Resources Practice Leader. In this role, she will oversee the operation of the Practice in alignment with the firm’s strategic goals. The Practice is focused on helping clients address pressing water supply challenges through collaborative planning to make the best use of their water resources now and in the future. She joins Woodard & Curran from the Water Research Foundation, where she served as Research Program Manager.

“Lyndsey’s experience spans the science, policy, and communications needs of water agencies,” said Jeff Stearns, Woodard & Curran’s Director of Water Practices. “This blend of skills helps her guide project teams and clients to find creative answers to the difficult questions of how we can protect, use, and re-use our limited water resources. I’m excited to add her insights to our team and know her leadership will help us drive innovation for our clients.”

Before joining Woodard & Curran, Bloxom managed the Water Research Foundation’s Water Resources Planning research portfolio under the Research Priority Program Utility Management Theme. She led collaborative processes that brought experts from across the water resources profession together to collectively identify challenges, develop potential solutions, and facilitate research.

She previously served as both a Senior Water Resources Analyst and Public Affairs Representative at the Water Replenishment District in Los Angeles County and holds a Master of Science degree in Hydrogeology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

“I believe that every challenge can be solved through collaboration, innovation, and effective planning,” said Bloxom. “I have built my career around these ideals, and in Woodard & Curran I see a group of talented, like-minded water resources professionals. I’m looking forward to working together to help our clients meet their water needs and better serve their communities.”
